Well, we’ve entered into the bloggosphere!
We want to use this forum to give visitors some insight into our church and its ministry. That’s why we’ve put the blog front and center — by reading our posts, you’ll see where we stand on a variety of issues — but all with an eye toward theological content and spiritual concerns.
My name is Tom Adams, and I’ll be writing most of the blog posts. I’m an elder with the church, and have been a member here since 1994. I’m here because of the doctrinal statement, but also because I see, through this doctrine, the Lord animating people’s lives toward growth and maturity in the Christian Faith.
We want you to know as clearly as possible what we believe and why we believe it. And we want you to come to believing it too! While we have posted our entire doctrinal statement here on our website, this blog will serve as a more personal insight into our patterns of thinking and attitudes towards the things we see going on around us. And, we hope it will be lively and enjoyable reading — but mostly we hope you find it challenging and thought-provoking.
